Last autumn Emily & TJ invited us to their family cottage near Bracebridge for their Muskoka cottage engagement photo session. I know we are late to posting this gorgeous collection of photos, but the snow came quick last year, and I didn’t get this one up on the blog before winter. But it is the perfect time of season to show off the gorgeous colours of fall leaves in the Muskoka’s, and the epic sunsets that really make this area a favourite amount couples for weddings and engagement photos.
Emily & TJ met at a wedding, (how perfect, right?). He was a groomsmen and she was a bridesmaid and they have been dating ever since. Their wedding was held at Sherwood Inn Muskoka this summer. One of my favourite things about their event was that they included the bride and groom from the wedding they met at in their bridal party. We will be sure to show off photos from that awesome day soon.
We love it when couples incorporate meaning into their photography, Emily spent a lot of time in Muskoka growing up and chose her cottage as the location for her Muskoka cottage engagement photos, TJ proposed to Emily at the cottage as well. So now whenever they visit Muskoka, its not just a getaway, or a mini vacation, its a place that brings some of the most important moments of their lives together. We are so honoured to be able to create art that serves a special purpose for Emily & TJ.
