Charlene & Jeremy

Charlene & Jeremy love the outdoors, their adorable dog, and walks through the Simcoe County Forest just on the outskirts of Barrie in a little town called Midhurst. So what better place for their intimate ceremony than a little bridge over a small creek in the middle of the forest. Guests made the 10 minute hike to the ceremony and were rewarded with the most beautiful autumn views. Casually standing on the little bridge in the forest were 30 of Charlene & Jeremy’s close friends and family as they were married just before the rain started.

Back in the city of Barrie, with no outdoor location left out of the rain for photos, the adventurous couple suggested a local parking garage for their bridal party and couples portraits.  The perfect contrast to the a colourful forest was the cool tones and dramatic lighting in Barrie’s Collier Street 3 storey parking garage. Creativity ensued. After the portraits we were off to The North Restaraunt for dinner. Later in the evening, Charlene and Jeremy stepped out from their reception to get a few photos in the rain at night for a truly magical ending to a perfectly imperfect day.

An intimate wedding like this one is just an example of the variety and personalized photographs we can create for you.

Hiding out from the rain, Jeremy & Charlene duck into a Barrie parking garage for their wedding portraits.

This fun and energetic bridal party even included a new born baby.

During the week this garage would be packed with cars, but late on a Saturday afternoon in October we had the place to ourselves. It was like our very own 3 storey studio.

The wedding reception festivities begin at The North Restaraunt in downtown Barrie, Ontario.
The newlyweds reaction the best man’s speech. The entire room was laughing.

Much like their intimate ceremony, their first dance as a married couple had them surrounded by their closest friends and family.

The best dance of the night was a hilarious father daughter ensamble dance made up of with the bride, her sister the maid of honor and dad all cutting a rug to Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up”.
