Almost a year ago we posted some photos on the blog of our trade show booth from February 2008 (see here), and we had an amazing response about it. We have been still receiving emails asking us how we did it.
Ryan put this video time lapse of the production of the booth the day before our trade show. The entire thing took us 4 hours to put together, (as it was our very first time putting the entire thing together) and the take down only 1 hour and 30 mins. back into the truck.

Here is the video:

A Brief History of Bridesmaids

Brides and bridesmaids check up this cute little video I swiped from http://blog.weddingpaperdivas.com/

Brides let your besties know how much they mean to you and how much you value their help on one of the most amazing days of your life. Being a bridesmaid is no walk in the park, its a tough job, whether they are warding off evil spirits for you or carrying around your emergency wedding kit filled with Advil, a mini sewing kit, your lipstick and perfume all day long. No matter what your bridesmaids jobs are, they are all important ones.

So take a peak at this video!

We can’t wait to meet and photograph your amazing bridesmaids this year.

Cheers

Carl Loves Lucy- 50th Birthday Celebration, Saint John , N.B

Even though it was Christmas time and my main motive for coming down to the East Coast was to visit my mother, I had another reason to come down. It was my Aunt Lucy & Uncle Carl’s 50th birthday Party! It was a surprise and the whole family was going to be there. Carl & Lucy’s birthdays are just weeks apart (just like Ryan and myself). It was a surprise party, and they were totally unaware up until the last few minutes in the car before we pulled up to their favorite bar, with a pitiful excuse that my mother’s car had broken down and she needed our help. ahah! Couldn’t pull one over on my Uncle Carl!
Anyways with tons of family around, tons of food, and the drinks-a-flowin’ my sister and I entertained with some of our kareoke talents. And I was able to capture some fantastic moments between two amazing people.
I love you guys so much! Happy Birthdays!

Here are my favorites from the night.
Cheers

Chris Loves Angela- Just Because Session- Saint John, N.B

It’s 2009!!!! I can’t believe how fast 2008 just flew by. I am just getting back into the swing of everyday life after 3 weeks visiting my mom in Saint John, New Brunswick. While I was down I had the chance to do a mini shoot of my cousin Chris and Angela. These 2 are pretty much one of the coolest couples I know, we always have an awesome time with them. We all went skating a few days after Christmas at Harbor Station, Harbor Station is the biggest rink in Saint John, and we skated on Tim Horton’s Free skate day, so we got free hot chocolate and Timbits! Score!!

I haven’t skated in about 3 years in an actual rink, after 14 years of hard core training in one (I used to be a fairly skilled figure skater back in my day). I wasn’t horrible, I mean I was standing up, and shooting at the same time (skills? I think so!) but I seriously need my skates sharpened, I am regretting it now because I would have loved to have shown off a bit in a huge rink.

Goal for the rest of the winter: Get skates sharpened and attempt something, anything that I used to do, jump, spin or whatever. Even if it kills me a little.

Anyways, here are a few pics of Angela and Chris who skated circles around me this holiday!

Stay Tuned for some of our favorite moments of 2008!
Cheers & Happy New year!
