Twice a year we photograph Joanne Blouin‘s headshots, once for summer and once for winter. Its a good idea to give talent agents, and casting agents images of you in different seasons. This is important because when casting directors look at thousands of applicants for a role in a summer advertisement for beach products, for example. They don’t want to see you wearing a sweater and scarf. It just hard to imagine that you will be a good fit for the part if your headshot doesn’t showcase a little bit of what they are looking for. So be strategic when sending in headshots, and get professional photographs taken a few times a year. Give casting directors a reason to hold on to your gorgeous mugshot!
