Just before new years 2013 Luca photographed a winter elopement at Muskoka’s Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Canada. Our two lovely brides drove all the way from Chicago to get married in Muskoka! Emma & Ashley could not wait to get married, so along with their puppy they braved the cold Canadian winter drive to our beautiful, snowy Muskoka. Their outdoor wedding ceremony was held in the Deerhurst Resort gazebo over looking the picturesque landscape and white washed Peninsula Lake. Ashley & Emma opted for a casual dress ceremony with lots of fun elements like a horse drawn carriage, photo ops with their pup, and confetti poppers to celebrate their tying the knot.

As a true elopement we had little time to plan, but Rowell Photography put us at ease and truly delivered a spectacular service. Our point person, made us feel like we were in safe hands and the details of our special day were all mapped out. We met our photographer, Luca the morning of the wedding and he was excited to hear all our thoughts of how we envisaged our photographs to look. Luca was incredibly professional and a great sport- whether he was wading through 3ft of snow or letting us throw confetti towards him or asking him to try and get our dog to stay still- he was amazing!!! Rowell Photography was able to capture the beautiful setting of Muskoka as well as providing us with lasting memories of a fun and relaxed day. Ashley & Emma
