I love France! It’s simple, each time I am there I feel like I am stepping into a fairy tale. This is Chateau Chambord in the Loire Valley of France. The place where they make the famous Chambord liquors. If you want a gorgeous castle as the backdrop to your wedding photos or honeymoon photos or vacation photography then Chateau Chambord should be on your list. When we arrived to our hotel (just beside this gorgeous castle) it was nearly closing time, but luckily they keep the gardens and the property stay open 24 hours daily, unlike Versailles or Fountain bleu closer to Paris. So with little to no tourists hanging around we put on our wedding outfits again and posed for a few photos taken with our trusty tripod. I have always wanted to have wedding photos at Chateau Chambord, and it certainly didn’t disappoint.
Our castle wedding/honeymoon photos were taken on the 2nd last day of our honeymoon, as the days before we were on a road trip from Nice, France to Paris. The French countryside is stunning! We traveled through so many villages sampling from local bakeries, fruit stands and restaurants. It would take ten lifetimes to really enjoy all the France has to offer. Thank goodness for photography or I wouldn’t remember half of it. When I think of France and I think of our honeymoon, this first photo is all I will see.
