Laura & Heather had their Horseshoe Resort Wedding this summer. Their wedding was absolutely beautiful, despite the torrential downpour we had that day that inevitably kept up all indoors for photos. The indoors photos turned out great! but Heather and Laura had a vision for their wedding day, and it did not include the basement hallway of Horseshoe Resort for all their photos. So one week after the wedding we got a call from the girls to check availability with us for another shoot later on this week where they would get back into their dresses, get hair and makeup done and head back up to Horseshoe for their portraits.
Now some might say, your wedding is what it is, things will go wrong and you just have to roll with it because you can’t control everything. They would have a very good point, but we like to live by the saying You only live once, and if your wedding is rained on so hard that you are stuck inside with limited options for photos, and photos really mean a lot to you, then why not invest in a photo shoot after the wedding. When it comes to preserving memories, making memories and doing things that feel right, money, pride, what people say and schedules should not stop you. Go for it!
Heather and Laura now have twice the photos, and memories to share with their friends and family and to enjoy for many years to come.
