Heather & Laura

Bancroft, Ontario – Engagement Session

Horseshoe Resort Barrie, Ontario – Wedding

Laura & Heather met in University and shortly after graduation they fell in love while backpacking Europe together. With all the amazing places they have traveled to they  decided to stay in Canada for both their engagement session and their wedding. Laura & Heather chose to have their engagement session at a place that means a lot to them, Laura’s family cottage in Bancroft, Ontario.

For their wedding they chose Barrie, Ontario’s Horseshoe Resort. And even though there were torrential down pours of rain on their wedding day, it was still an absolutely stunning affair. During their reception we created a wedding photo booth set up for guests to come and pose for fun photos with our custom made props, everything from goofy signs, to fake moustaches and robot heads. With all the rain we didn’t have a chance to take any outdoor photos so later on that same week Heather & Laura got all dressed up and met us at Horseshoe Resort for a 2nd photo shoot. This time we had gorgeous weather, and beautiful hilltop vistas to photograph the brides at.

A beautiful event like this one is just an example of the variety and personalized photographs we can create for you.

It poured rain on their wedding day at Horseshoe Resort in Barrie, On. But that certainly didn’t stop them from having a beautiful wedding.

Both Laura and Heather walked down the aisle with their dad’s. Their ceremony was carried out by the best officiant in the Barrie area, our close friend Tom Cooke.

Since their wedding was so rainy we never got a chance to photograph any outdoor portraits. Late on that same week we all went back to Horseshoe Resort for a portrait session.

Their first dance as Mrs. & Mrs. was a choreographed waltz that had the crowd on their feet cheering by the end.
