Muskoka weddings can be many things, and most of the time they are quite rustic, and private affairs with close friends and family. Some times they can be big Greek Orthodox wedding ceremonies on the back lawn of The JW Marriott The Rosseau Muskoka, where the bridal party looks like they are attending the academy awards, and the bride and groom look like royalty. The truth is Muskoka can host any type of wedding, from the most traditional and cultural, to the laid back and carefree, because the reason people flock to this part of the province isn’t only for its good looks.
This summer our very own Luca, and 2nd photographer Allison captured what we think is one of our favorite weddings of the year. It is elegant, and so classy, and shows a wedding style more often seen in a big city. It just goes to show that the place where you can have it all is Muskoka. Giving you the luxury style of the big city but with the peacefulness of cottage country. So its no wonder Natalie & Steven wanted to share their amazing wedding weekend with as many friends and family members as possible. They were married in a Greek Orthodox ceremony over looking Lake Rosseau, with photos that followed on the back lawn, and lakeside at the JW Marriott The Rosseau Muskoka docks. Their reception kicked off with one of the best wedding bands out there, The St. Royals. At sunset Luca & Allison snuck the newlyweds outside for a few moments of gorgeous setting sunlight, before leaving them to dance the night away.
