Matt, the photographer has to expect some controversy here. It’s clearly going to push some buttons and bring up a sensitive issue. The other commenters were polite and voiced their opinions in a respectful way and should not be considered “venting” and in need of psychologists. Artists know that criticism is part of the job. Yes, the photos are amazingly done. But people need to be allowed to comment honestly.

It’s a shame that such a creative photo shoot that was meant more to be satirical humor on the idea of marriage is taken so far out of context. Seems to me that this shoot neither promotes nor for that matter suggest the idea of domestic violence. I think if you are offended by the content and cannot see the humor then some inner reflection or perhaps some time spent with a psychologists would be better than venting needlessly on someones blog offending the couple who should be very proud of this AMAZING engagement shoot.
