Well that’s bizarre, I can honestly tell you I have never experienced an empty palace.. it must have been mid-day and extremely hot.. people having their siesta’s! LOL usually you cant walk through it because of the hordes of people

Actually Diocletian’s Palace was pretty empty that day. It was such a hot day too, we went in to stay out of the heat. Thanks for the amazing comment! Split was awesome! I wish we lived there.
OMG guys, had no idea you were going to Split! That is where I was born and lived until I was 9! (well just outside of Split, in Trogir). My whole family is still over there. Beautiful photos! Plitvice is wonderful, walked that park many times. Next time you have to go south, towards Dubrovnik, or visit one of the 1200 islands which are all different and stunning in their own way. I’m so glad you enjoyed it. You are such amazing photographers and I always look forward to your posts. Not sure if you were at Peter’s on July 1st, wish I could have made it to hear about your experience. PS. I really want to know how you managed photos in Diocletian’s palace without a gazillion people in it! Cant wait for the next round of honeymoon photos. PSS… and Congrats on your wedding too!

It’s opulent, spacious, and has loads of character due to its huge Canadian history. They even offer the chance to have photos taken on the roof!
