Amy & Dwight’s Taboo Resort wedding was a lovely intimate affair. Taboo Resort for weddings is one of our favourite places to shoot, especially because the sun sets over the water and can be seen from nearly every angle of the resort. We got the chance to work with the amazing staff and coordinators at Taboo, and also had the chance to work with our very good friends Rachel & David Clingen from Rachel A Clingen Wedding & Event Design. Rachel created a beautiful mix of rustic and feminine details to really tie in both Dwight and Amy’s personalities, it made their wedding a very personal, and a memorable experience. Their ceremony took place at the Fireside Grill Patio at Taboo Resort where guests were treated to stunning panoramic views of Lake Muskoka. After the ceremony guests retreated to the Boat House for the reception dinner and dancing. Even though the sky was overcast for most of the day, just before night fell the sun peaked through the clouds and lit up the sky in a brilliant orange, giving Dwight and Amy a truly romantic end to a perfect day in Muskoka!
