Violet Hill Wedding in a Garden - Rowell Photography

We have been waiting a very long time to post this lovely Violet Hill wedding. When we found out it would be published locally in Wedding Trends Magazine we wanted our blog post to coincide with its release. You might remember Kate & Barb’s Craigleith Provincial Park engagement session from last spring. This truly inspiring couple finally tied the knot in front of 70 of their closest friends and family at Mrs. Mitchell’s Restaraunt & garden in Violet Hill, Ontario. It was an absolutely gorgeous day, and every inch of this property was in bloom. Before this wedding we had never even heard of this venue and restaurant, actually we realized that for years we had been passing it by quite often. Tucked away on a somewhat hidden dirt road, is this gem of a venue. With perfectly manicured gardens, ponds with a few swans afloat, statuettes and even a gift shop. We highly recommend it. The staff is outstanding, the food and service is superb and it is an excellent location for photography. We cannot wait to come back here again and photograph more weddings or even just to have a great meal.
