For Heather & Dan’s beach engagement session, we pretty much had Deanlea Beach to ourselves. Located in the Wasaga Beach area of Ontario, this gorgeous strip of beach is surrounded by sand dunes and a twisting boardwalk. They wanted something fun, lighthearted and memorable for their engagement photos. Heather & Dan are fun, energetic and have been together for quite a while now, but still act like two highs school sweethearts on a 2nd date. Their love and playfulness is infectious. Try not to smile as your scroll through these photographs taken by Luca, with a little help from me (). We adore these, especially the splashing ones in black and white. They could be from any time period, classically and candidly captured. That’s what we love about Luca’s work and his approach. He will wait for the moment; and watch, then capture. These days its so hard to have such patience when it seems like the world is spinning so fast. So in this case: photography; well at least to us, is so very important.
We are thrilled to have Luca photograph their wedding at Hidden Valley Resort in Muskoka in just under a month from now. Thank you to Heather & Dan for being such great sports, for bringing 4 outfits to this shoot, and getting 3 of them wet, and all while keeping smiles on your faces. Have a wonderful wedding day!
