Six years ago Ryan and I took the Via Rail train across Canada, ending our tour with a road trip through the Icefields Parkway and spending the night at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. So when we reconnected with past clients Christine & Kayan for their Lake Louise Anniversary photo shoot, we basically picked up where we left off. We started early in the morning, when the water was calm and the tourists were still asleep, and we watched the sunrise over the water. As the sky lit up so did the perfect reflection of inverted mountains on Lake Louise. It was like glass, and each time we looked at it, the four of us couldn’t help but say “is this real?”. It was like some strange optical illusion, and we had it all to ourselves, for over an hour to use as the perfect backdrop to this Lake Louise Anniversary Photo shoot.

You might remember Christine & Kayan from our blog years ago, who were married in Muskoka.  We always talked about one day photographing them again on their side of the country. So to celebrate their upcoming anniversary we all explored Lake Louise, Bow Lake and Banff for a destination anniversary photo shoot. They were looking hotter than ever, styles from head to toe in some of my favourite looks from this past years photo shoots.  Ending the session at their hotel as we photographed them playfully sharing in the duties of domesticated bliss.

Congratulations to C & K on your upcoming 3rd wedding anniversary! It was and has been our absolute pleasure to know you both and capture this exciting time in your lives. Cheers to many happy years!
